EVERY ONE OF THESE REVIEWS ARE FAKE. READ EACH ONE CAREFULLY AND ANY RATIONAL MIND WILL COME TO THE SAME CONCLUSION: FAKE REVIEWS
As a courtesy to anyone under failed hard drive anxiety that is contemplating making the mistake of using this company, please read the testimony of another person that dealt with Secure Hard Drive Data Recovery Services:
I cannot recommend this operation to anyone. I had a NAS RAID that went down. After promising a response in 48 hours, they took a week. Strike one. They claimed that BOTH drives in the RAID had bad read heads - really??? - although the discussion I had with the representative, who calls from out of state (odd) demonstrated that they had not even really looked at the drives. The cost $2800 to recover the data. This is for a box that costs a few hundred. I asked for a full quote. I got one line that stated the parts and one that stated labor. No diagnostics, just $2800. Strike two. When I told them I wanted to get a second quote (I am not going to spend $2800 one one quote) the guy behind the counter started to haggle and asked me what I would pay. All that told me was that the quote was hugely inflated. Strike three. I took the box to another vendor and they found the problem in the electronic, not in the drive and they managed to dump everything onto an external hard drive for less than $200.
Do not patronize this operation. They go under many different names and websites (that got my spidey-senses going) that look professional, but they are sub-par at best.
When I picked up my machine, another customer who was picking up his drive was told they had recovered 900GB, but he could only see less than 200GB. The tech was less than helpful. To add insult to injury, the customer had to call customer service (the out of state guy) from his own cell phone.
Do not patronize.
