Have loved Circa for years, but feel like the food has taken a bit of a slip in the last year or so. The standbys are still fab - steak salad, truly the best meatloaf EVER, and the burger...sooo good! - but as far as the rest of the rest of the menu and the specials are concerned, it's just not what it used to be.
They used to have really deliciously creative, seasonal, gastro-pubish menus with outrageous specials. Now the menu has a heavily fried and 1997 feel to it...not so modern!
One of the servers mentioned that their chef moved to some island to cook at a bistro somewhere in the San Juans? So sad! ...gonna have find that island!
