I visit Las Vegas a couple times a year to see family, and to party a little bit. The last time I went to Vegas, I remember taking a cab from the airport (I think it was a Ford Explorer), and I wanted to go to the strip area around the MGM. Having been here a number of times before, I know that its a pretty quick drive to take Paradise and Tropicana surface streets to get to this area. However, in the Explorer cab, the driver sped off towards the freeway just after I said where I was going. This ended up costing me almost 30 dollars for what could have been cheap, quick ride.
This time visiting Las Vegas I got directed to a UNION Cab. When I entered the cab, the driver asked me my destination, and I told him. Then he asked me if I would rather take the surface streets, which may take longer but will be cheaper, or the freeway, which is faster but more expensive. I decided to take the cheaper route, as the time difference didn't matter to me much. The fare was about $15.25 if I remember correctly. Regardless, this driver, and this company saved me close to $20 dollars, and I will always remember to use this company for this reason. Thank you Union Cab !!!!
