We went to Bridal Gallery on a Saturday looking for bridesmaid dresses and were not impressed at all. They were very busy (which is expected) but there were four employees standing behind the counter doing nothing.
We were told to go pick out the dresses that we liked and someone would help us when they were available (remember the four employees??) The first thing we noticed was that all of the dresses were approximately $30 more than the exact same dress at other stores. Then we noticed their lack of selection, however there was a bride there being allowed to take over 20 dresses at one time, so that probably did not help with lack of selection. We waited for quite some time and then decided that we would be better off going to another store, so we went a took our names off of the list. The saleswoman then said that if we called back we could make an appointment for another Saturday because we had an hours drive in.
A few weeks later we called to make that appointment and were very rudely told that they do not do Saturday appointments. That is fine, many places don't, but we should not have been told that we could and she definitely could have been polite about it. We were told that we could schedule an appointment for during the week, however the bride works until 5:00 everyday so that wouldn't work at all.
All in all Bridal Gallery wasted our time and lost 10 sales. I will also recommend to anyone getting married that they don't even try Bridal Gallery. Also a suggestion, if you aren't going to have Saturday appointments perhaps hire so more employees who will actually do their jobs.
