I've known Red and Karen for going on 12 years now and they are fun, friendly and courteous, but don't go in there like a show off...that can cause serious injuries and Red doesn't like that too much, nor do the other people who work there. Yes, I've seen Red tell someone off, but that is b/c they were being/acting stupid and trying to be a ""know it all"" instead of listening to someone who has had decades of experience under their belt. IMO, they deserved the reprimand they received. I love the atmosphere at Red's and as a member of the Austin Sure Shots Women's Pistol League, that practices there, they are above and beyond in instruction, patience and helpful attitude to the newbies that come in and need help. I wouldn't go to any other indoor range in Austin. Red's Rocks!
