I accompanied my friend KT to her appointment. KT has had a fear of the dentist for years, so I knew this was going to be a difficult appointment for her.\r
I was welcomed back to hold KT's hand and make her more comfortable. \r
KT began to meltdown, as time was nearing for her to get a shot \r
before her fillings. As I talked her down, I was very impressed with \r
how wonderful Dr. Thompson was handling the situation aswell as her assistant. She had calmly talked with KT, reassuring her. She had exited, giving KT time to compose herself and be ready to deal with the remainder of her visit.\r
