My name is Evan,
I had just bought an iPhone 4 and wanted to use it with T-mobile. I had done some searching online and to my knowledge some iPhone 4 could be unlocked to used with other carrier other than AT&T.
I had responded to some craigslist ad on unlocking phones, when I would ask about my iPhone 4 they would tell me that it couldn't be unlock, so i was bummed out after spending $300 dollars buying this iPhone.
I was on craigslist about to post an ad myself to sell my iPhone 4 that i just bought, but then I saw an Mr. Fix It ad that said ""we unlock phones"".
So I gave Mr. Fix It a call and they told me that they couldn't unlock it there, but instead of just hanging up on me they gave me some useful advice. They told me that I would need an ""Gevey Sim"" to unlock my iPhone 4 which they didn't carry.
After talking to Johnny at Mr. Fix It i was able to give him my credit card over the phone to have him order the Gevey Sim for me. (cause i don't know the first thing about unlocking a phone nevertheless an iPhone 4)
After waiting 4 days i got a call back from Johnny at Mr. Fix It and was told that they just received my Gevey Sim in the mall and if I could come in and bring my iPhone 4 in so he could unlock it.
I came in and met Johnny, he was very nice and polite and worked on my phone while I waited, he told me what he need to do to my phone for it to work and i could see every step on my phone. (just lots of codes moving very fast and a pineapple picture)
The work was done in about 20 minute while i waited and was very happy with the work and the customer service.
To everyone out there, if you need a phone unlock come to Mr. Fix It and get it done there, instead of calling people on craigslist who wants to meet you at their house or Star Buck or a random back alley.
