After 23 phone calls in one day, ( Yes actually 23.) I finally decided to call back moveourstuff and spoke with Brian. I moved from NY to FL and he gave us a reasonable quote. I moved a 1 bedroom apartment. We were told that the truck would meet us down in FL between Friday and Monday. So today is Monday and we call Brian, because he never calls us to let us know what is going on. He tells us the truck broke down somewhere in Georgia and they will not be able to deliver my stuff until Wednesday. Being that i live in NY i need to go back to NY tomorrow morning! Flight is booked, rental car has to be returned, and the hotel we are staying in during this move needs to be checked out of. Brian and his manager did not seem to care at what an inconvenience they have caused us. Had i known they would not deliver on time i would not have flown down on Thursday. We are extremely angry and upset. I wasted 5 days down here, and my father who came to help me move has missed 5 days of work, in which he runs his own business. We are still waiting on them to find out what day they will deliver my things. No reimbursement was promised or even offered. If they expect us to pay the rest of the money we owe, they have another thing coming. The amount of money we have to spend now to change our flight home, extend our stay in the hotel and the rental car use is ridiculous. They were not very apologetic at all. We were promised to have an easy, stress free move and so far it has been nothing but. Oh and to add they showed up to pick my things up from NY 2 hours late. Any future moves I have I will NOT be using this company. I highly recommend calling someone else, even if it means spending a little more.
