Worst dental office EVER!!!!!!!! Stay far,far away! 12/9/2011

This is without a doubt, the worst dentist I've ever been to. I used to go when I was younger because they were the closest to home and took my mom's insurance. Ok. So I had a filling done there once on a front tooth. It was an ugly black spot that made me look hideous because it looked like my tooth was rotting out for everyone to see. The assistant was nice but the doctor was HORRIBLE. She gave me a horrible attitude like I was keeping her from a date or something. Then, to my horror, when I opened my mouth and she looked at the tooth that she was to be filling, she said, ""Oh, my God! You've never been to a dentist have you?!"" She continued on to tell me how hideous she thought my teeth looked and at the end of the procedure I told her that my smile looked much better and I thanked her and she scoffed at me and walked out of the room. I've also had two root canals done there, and with NO Novocaine I might add. The dentist stuck a needle in my gum on the bottom left of my mouth and then proceeded to drill into my tooth on the top right. It hurt so badly and they were supposed to inject it directly into the nerve, since they are practically ripping it out, but they refused. I was screaming and crying so loudly that other patients began walking out of the office. I didn't realize that in all of the agony, I had begun to rip the skin right off of the top of my hand and it was bleeding rather badly. Frustrated not only with patients leaving, they also were fed up with my screaming so extra assistants were called in to pin me to the chair while I spent the remainder of what felt like 3 hours receiving a root canal with no Novocaine. Finally, I'm in the process of getting to a new dentist soon to have two teeth pulled because of their neglect. I went in with tooth pain a while ago and the dentist that was there said, it's a big cavity but no reason it can't be filled and you have 2 other small cavities that need to be filled and your teeth will be perfect. I agreed to come back in in a few days to have everything done at once, but I needed more money to do so. I arrived a week later and saw another dentist who told me that my teeth are practically rotting out of my mouth and the 3 small cavities turned into 4 root canals plus 8 other medium to large cavities. I'm no expert but is it really possible to develop 6 cavities in a week? So they refused to fill the tooth and said the only procedure they would do is a root canal which I promptly declined because without insurance I would have no money to my name for at least a month. They agreed to fill one smaller cavity for me but I have panic attacks, especially in situations like that so it would be difficult for me. I sat for over an hour waiting for the dentist to come back after I had been numbed and they were gone so long that they had to numb me again. I had a hard time holding still because I was beginning to panic and the dentist took her drill out of my mouth and told me either to hold still or get out because she doesn't have time for this. Overall, the staff is rude, inexperienced, and they have NO concern for the well-being of their patients. Find another dentist nearby there are several much better ones to choose from. more
