My ovens died and I was waiting for the repairman. I am a great ""from scratch"" home baker but I was in a bind for an important family birthday party event. Ooh La La is all the rave and a very cute place. The huge expensive cake I purchased was beautiful! However.....I could not believe what I was seeing when I cut the first piece for the party in front of my guests. The layers were burned. I would have never frosted such layers and wish I had my money back. The cake was so dry it could hardly be eaten. Most of it went in the trash from the plates of my guests and I tossed the remaining cake when I cleaned up. What a waste of money and what a terrible experience. My homemade would have been so nice and in fact, I had cake recently at a friend's house from HEB. I so wish I had gone there.....I will never go back to be ripped off again at Ooh La La!
