We are new to the Alameda area. South Shore Beach & Tennis Clus gets a 3 out of 5. Overall, the apartment is decent. New carpets and paint before move in. I cannot complain about the noise in my apartment building. But you can hear people walking or running outside the apartment at all hours of the day/night. The Fitness Center needs an upgrade. The staff here is helpful, but things take awhile to get addressed. If you are looking for a place to live, I would recommend it in your top 5.
