Yea Frank is the best all right! The best SWINDLER I ever met.!! I took a 1954 Martin into Frank. Very nice guy(as are all con men) I wanted to sell it for my 94 year old aunt. She couldn't afford the medication her husband needed and ask me to sell his guitar. Good old honest Frank said it was worth around $500.00 and offered me $300.00 for it. I told my aunt what he told me and she said that Frank had been a local businessman for many years. Realizing that he needed to make a profit on it she agreed to sell it to him for the $300.00 he offered. A month later I'm at a friends house and he's looking at guitars online. I tell him about the one I sold to Guitar Heaven. He looks it up on there web site and we see that he had just sold the old ""$500.00 Martin"" for $2,875.00. It's one thing to make a profit but there comes a time that there is a difference between being fair and being swindled and outright ripped off. I think a 900% profit margin is enough to classify Frank and a first rate swindler. When I confronted him, he threw me out of his shop, yelling about how long he had been in business and how honest he was. I've been in business and as a local businessman I would often have people come in to my shop not know the value of what they had. I believe it's the reasonability of the ""expert"" to be honest as to valuation and explain that I couldn't pay retail as I need to profit on it as well. I didn't expect Frank to pay $2,800.00 dollars for it. I understand he must make a profit. But $2,575.00 profit on a $300.00 investment!! NO INGEGRITY, NO HONESTY, NO REMORSE!! A FIRST CLASS SWENDLER AND RIP-OFF.!! There are plenty on honest people in business, why support a crook!!
