I was referred to ARM by a friend in the early 1990s and have been using them since. They are good mechanics and I trust them. I'll tell a story that demonstrates how they do business.
I brought the car in because it was making a squealing noise when I turned the steering wheel all the way to the right or left. They looked at the car and told me it had a small leak in the power steering system. Instead of replacing anything, they used some viscous product to plug the leak and refilled the power steering reservoir. I think the total cost of the repair was around $20.
Of course, all trips to the mechanic don't end this way. But I trust Mark and Ernie, and their prices are generally lower than their competitors.
