I can't believe how amazing the service was that I received from Roto-Rooter. They have to be the best Plumber on Long Island. I had a leak in my kitchen near the Dishwasher. I originally called another plumber, They were telling me that they believed that it was a busted pipe and that it would cost $189 for a leak evaluation. I live in a condo and felt it was important to contact my management company as if it was a busted pipe they are responsible. The Plumber told me that f i called later he can come back. He charged me $49.99 for the visit. My condo told me that they will reimburse me if it was a pipe but I need to get them back to find out who is responsible. They made an appointment for 3 days later. not the same day as I was told. The next day that leak got really bad. I called Roto-Rooter. The plumber, Steve showed up. He was pleasant and professional. He showed up in less than 1 hour. He found the problem right away. It was my Dishwasher that was bad. But there was a valve under the sink that I missed. It fed the waster to the dishwasher. He was able to shut that and the leak was gone. While he was there, he discovered another leak under the sink. He tightened that real good, and there has been no leak since. I am so grateful for Roto-Rooter. I will be using them from now on. The best part is when he told me that since it was an easy solution, he reduced his bill from $215.00 down to just $75.00.
