I had D & H install two roof-mounted HVAC units in Feb 2008. Both have special and expensive allergy-reducing X8788 filters in them. My review is not about this installation, but about the poor service since then.\r
1) For over 3.5 years D & H technicians have come to our home twice a year (that?s seven times!) and NEVER ONCE have any of them informed us that when you have the X8788s, you DO NOT NEED REGUALR FURNACE FILTERS IN YOUR RETURN DUCT ANY LONGER! -- So what? We are a couple in our seventies, and thus D & H has made us sweat cleaning & replacing regular filters for all these years, totally unnecessarily! This waste of double filtration also makes the units work too hard, reducing their longevity!\r
