I was referred to DUC by my urologist, who doesn't seem to be able to do kidney stone surgery. I arrived for a 3 pm appointment only to be seen at 6:15 pm. I got no apology or partial refund even though the clinic had overscheduled patients and caused me to be an hour late for work. No one even knew why I was there, although my referring doctor sent my records a week in advance. I was advised that I was going to receive a consult on kidney stone surgery and that the surgery would be performed 2 days later. When I finally saw the doctor, it turns out I have to wait an additional 2 weeks for the surgery. The staff also waiting until 6:30pm to have me fill out required paperwork, which I could have been doing during the 3 hour wait to see the doctor. The only upbeat parts of the visit were the personable doctor, who allowed me to view my x-ray, and his extremely hot assistant.
