Dr Shapiro and Dr Land spent the entire day Christmas Eve a couple of years ago taking care of my daughter's Italian Greyhound ""Kisses"" who had fractured her right front leg. Dr. Shapiro clearly was more concerned with my animal's welfare and our feelings than with her own personal needs to be with her family on the holiday. Our dog had a complicated fracture that took most of the day to repair however we never felt anything was rushed and the dog received the most attentive care despite the after hours time frame.This 7 pound dog had anaesthetic risk yet my daughter and I knew she was in the best of hands. We were able to relax knowing everything possible was being done. Dr Shapiro went above and beyond the call of duty by making herself available on the Christmas Holiday. It was obvious to me that she is a veterinarian because of her love of people and animals and goes the extra mile! \r
