Terrible Experience/Customer Service 11/15/2011

HI All! I felt the need to write in as I have had a TERRIBLE experience with Preston TV and Video. I have never taken the time to write a review before in all my years, but this experience was so bad I felt I needed to warn everyone so your time is not wasted! I called to schedule a Home Theater install consultation and was told the service providers would arrive between 1 and 3 pm today. I called to confirm this morning and was told they would be coming for sure, and verified that if they were not going to be able to meet the allotted time slot that they would call to let me know. I have now spent the past two hours on my couch waiting, and at 3pm called to ask what the status was...they informed me they were no longer going to be able to make it. I said, OK, are you not going to apologize? I have been sitting at my house for two hours waiting and you have had my phone number the entire time. The man was like ""sorry"". I informed him (politely) that this was terrible customer service and he said that he would be happy to cancel the entire thing if I would like. I was literally shocked at how flippant/ambivalent he was! I would not recommend working with Preston TV and Video. I have now wasted an entire afternoon, and then been treated poorly afterwards! I suggest steering clear! more
