A speaker at a conference I went to recommended I take my son to a neurologist for tics he experiences. I looked through the providers covered under my insurance, read the professional resume of several of the associates, and visited their website before calling to make an appointment.
My daughter now needs to be evaluated for another condition. I rechecked with my insurance carrier to ensure Child Neurology Associates is a covered provider- they are and I am now on hold waiting to get her an appointment.
When I visited the office, I was impressed with the support services offered. This is not a ""thanks for coming, make an appointment for your next visit, don't call us we'll call you"" place.
I understand that other reviewers were frustrated because of coverage, or lack there of, but that has nothing to do with the doctors, but the insurer. I had an MRI done elsewhere and knew that I would have to meet my deductible before coverage would be provided according to the conditions of my insurer. I had done my research about my coverage and always recommend others do the same.
