Asked these guys to come out to look at my boiler. The guy didn't know what he's doing. So he took some pictures, sent the pictures back to the office, and made a couple of phone calls and then left without telling me anything. Then they sent me a bill for coming out. When I called them to ask about the bill, they said they don't come out for free. Not only that, they want to charge me $45 extra for doing a diagnostic (but without telling me what it is). No one agreed for him to do any diagnostics. Is taking pictures on a cell phone considered diagnostic? What kind of reputable company would do something like this? True, no one is expected to work for free. But they are expected to provide a service (something!) before they can expect to get paid. These people tried to rip me off when I am most vulnerable (boiler not working during the heating season). It is most unexcusable kind of business practice. It's comparable to a car mechanic who wants to charge you outrageous prices when your car breaks down in a strange town. I would never recommend this company to anyone. When you need plumbing or any kind of help for your house, it is best to ask your neighbors for recommendations. It is best to find an independent plumber who takes pride in his work.
