The one star has nothing to do with the quality of the food or restaurant, rather the extreme rudeness and lack of service I received from an employee. I was at the Dunkin Donuts on Northshore Dr. on 11/18/11 at 7:00 pm and was waited on by Mike. I had my granddaughter with me who was having difficulty making up her mind and Mike got extremely frustrated. There was a language barrier in that I couldn't understand him very well and I asked him several times to repeat himself. Again, he showed extreme frustration because I couldn't understand HIM! He was rude, told me to hurry he had another customer (a car behind me), and hissed in exasperation and slammed my food on the counter (which he never got correct by the way). I'm not one to write bad reviews about anything, but this was unacceptable. Never have I been treated so hateful by anyone anywhere. I asked for the manager/owner's name and he told me it was him. I called this morning and spoke with Debbie, the mgr there who was most helpful, kind and profusely apologized to me. I hope no one else has to experience what I did especially in front of a small child. more
