In response to the previous review, I would like to note that the caller was not willing to assist in correcting the issue. I asked if she could show proof of payment so that I could correct the issue, to which she started screaming profanities at me.
Further, she stated that she was going to contact a lawyer over this and hung up without giving me a chance to respond. Ultimately, this issue was resolved when the caller finally was willing to assist us in correcting the error.
We always attempt to work with our patients to reconcile their accounts. Unfortunately, this woman was irate, and refused to be cooperative. We have been in business for many years. A small clerical error, such as a missed copayment, should not result in a major attack on our business. It could have been, and was, easily resolved once the caller cooperated.
