We had the Ernest Mills Park Avenue Band from Hank Lane perform at our wedding on October 30th. Although we have gotten great feedback about the entire affair from guests, the greatest compliments we have gotten have been about the band. We've heard everything from ""they kept us on the dance floor all night"" to ""I've been to many weddings but this is the best band I've seen perform at one.""
My bride and I were busy all night as you would expect but I do remember the leader named Dane asking me how I thought the band was, several times. He managed the whole musical experience very well from a special request from my bride at the ceremony to playing the songs we requested at the reception. When I asked him to play a few more slow dances it was done!! He also got all the names right for the speeches and reception activities. It's the small details that separate the Men from the boys when it comes to wedding bands and this band understood that. Thank you Dane, Ernest Mills and Mike Hermann and especially Hank Lane!!
