My name is Tyler Waugh and I am the owner of Speedee. I am writing to address your wifes visit to Speedee. N.C. requires under statute through the General Assembly that any vehicle coming to our shop for inspection must be pulled completely into the bay and inspected regardless of whether we view a failure previous to the service. This state requirement is for the safety of all vehicles on the road. We do not have the descretion to inform you before the inpection fails, the state wants to be informed of the failure so that they can monitor whether or not the issue is resolved. I do hope that this information will clear up any of your doubts about our service. On the oil change issue I was the one who brought up the oil change recommendation. I noticed the sticker in the window was overdue. Your wife informed me that the sticker was wrong and the oil had already been changed. I was truly trying to help and not take advantage. We do not believe in that type of sales tactic. I do hope that this information helps and that we will see you agin. more
