My wife and I went here with an open mind, and were not disapponted. This is a Persian restaurant, with an influence from the central part of the country. The food is authentic, not the Lebanese/American version of the same spices are subtle and garlic not overused. The flavors in the Baba Ganoosh were great, roasted with garlic and onions and peeled and mashed, not blended into a paste like hummous. The service was excellent, Bryttani was attentive, even though it was slow, and was taking the time to check every fork and glass for cleanliness. The lamb special was cooked snd spiced well, and the marrow tasty. Portions are larger, so take that into account. Not a large but good selection of wines to complement. Tea and coffee at the right strength/temperature. Ambiance good, low volume classical, of a Mediterranean influence. Overall very clean, including the bathrooms. A high recommend for those that like Persian food. They are ok if you bring your own to-go containers to be eco friendly. (a-la Portlandia style).
