I recently moved to Portland and the hardest service for me to commit to was a new hairstylist. I have naturally dark hair that I prefer to be very short Platinum Blonde. My hair does not lift easily and the haircut will show any fault the stylist may make. I based my search this time on Paul Mitchell products as the Paul Mitchell bleach truly lifts my dark color to platinum. I found Volero salon. The price was more than I liked but not out of line for high quality salons. The salon is artistic but not cluttered. The girls who greeted me were very nice and Victor was sauve and sweet. I loved the stylist station mirrors custom made to resemble artist easles. My stylist ANTHONY made me feel very comfortable and at ease, so after a consultation he started on my hair. From the beginning I could tell this was going to go really well. In conversation I learned that Anthony had extensive experience and was once a trainer, and that also added to my confidence. Anthony took great pains in every aspect of the process. I recalled here and there with past stylists some of the techniques he used, but he used them all together! These were the secrets of making an excellent head of platinum hair. After a very nice rinse and scalp massage, I was back to my beautiful virgin blonde. Anthony's skill with scissors was also very impressive and I was done and out the door in what I considered record time!! That's amazing! I highly recommend Anthony and the Volero Salon.
