Three days before having my car towed by Avenue Auto I had it inspected on a rack at Wheelworks Sunnyvale- Specifically for chassis squareness and bushing condition. - The car looked drove and aligned fine- The alternator went out- SO I requested a flat tow from AAA- Avenue auto said they could tow the car without damage- However. The driver admitted to being behind the wheel for 20hours- He was nice. But he was very much on autopilot- Driving over Elcamino on Woodside road- The driver did not slow for the dip- I cringed- It hit hard and I heard stuff break- In fact after having the alternator repaired the handling of the car was adverse- I replaced the two front control arms at that point- Then took it to Avenue Auto to see if they could fix the damage done to the car- I was told that it was worn out- Funny thing- Being as that Earlier when I inspected it the bushings were fine- There was a torn rear subframe mount- The repair Avenue Auto did was not only a full inch low and a half inch back from where is should be. But in a position as to have the force of the swaybar impact the fuel tank- they at no point test drove the car- I brought it back and said it was not an amenable repair- Round two- More missed work- The tech put washers on the other side of the sway bar- And again. Failed to teat drive the car. Even upon request- I was told to have them fix it correctly would start at 300$ but they didn't know really how much more. - But that it would start at 300$. I took the car to Mieneke and the owner laughed at the poor quality of repair- We had to chop apart the welds done by Avenue auto. Start from scratch. Order and install bushings. Finally. After hundreds of dollars paid to Wheelworks. Meineke. And a Shop in Fremont- A laser rack confirming that the tow had in fact warped the frame- Calling AAA Calling Avenue- All I got was made fun of. Told my car (that outhandles according to edmund an analagous M3) Was a piece of junk Ford- No test drives were ever done after they WELDED my car- No financial compensation for the repairs- In fact I was told that the car had a basic plane jane suspension- These guys are idiots- This is a hand built limited production Former Federal Interceptor- Hand made in Tennessee By Fords top techs- It has a Cosworth in it- A VERY sophisticated suspension- These people are Racist- They are incompetent. The work they delivered was grossly unsafe- If it's white it's right here At Avenue Auto- Jews. Blacks. See Kyle- Don't go here. Again. Keep specifically in mind that I requested a flat tow and was told they could tow the car non flat without incurring damage- Damage was incurred- Responsibility to repair the damage was not met-
