We had a funeral to attend in GA and had only a few days to make plans. We couldn't take our 3 children. They were too young and the flights were too expensive. I usually rely on my mother to babysit, however, she was attending the funeral as well. My girlfriend told me about SeekingSitters in Orlando.
Because of the short notice and the amount of time needed, Melissa took on the assignment herself! As a business owner myself, I was absolutely thrilled that she would go out of her way to help our family.
I was very pleased with the care that my children received from Melissa. She cared for my children overnight. THIS WAS A FIRST FOR ME. I must admit, I was very nervous about leaving them overnight. My apprehensions quickly went away when she walked through the door. Her warm smile and excitement towards my children was amazing to see. They connected with her immediately. I was no longer worried. And when I arrived home, the house was spotless and the kids kept raving about how great Melissa was! She kept them busy, taking them to the park, walking the dogs all over the neighborhood, soccer, chalk drawings and adventure hunting outside. I appreciated the fact that they weren't stuck inside in front of the television all day!
She cared for them the same way any mother would, feeding, bathing and playing with them. I would use her again in a heartbeat!!
