I was always afraid to get allergy testing because I heard you have to get all these shots in your back...this is not true! I am happy to report, the testing is just a series of slittle poke and scrapes. They test a bunch of stuff on your back, then do your forearms. My back didn't hurt at all and the arms were like a little pinch. Anyway, the worse part is that whatever you come up allergic to pops up like a mosquito bite. And itches. In my case, I had lots of these! After some itch creme it was much better. Anyway, I did opt for allergy shots and am hoping to be off meds soon!
By the way, the staff in this office is wonderful. From the front office to the nurses, everyone seemed very caring.
