I had my wedding gown altered here because it was recommended by the place that I bought my dress. The first fitting I went to, the lady tried to tell me that my dress no longer fit and she would have to add material (which is more money) I told her not to worry about that yet because #1 it was a corset, #2 I still had 3 1/2 months until the wedding and #3 I KNEW it still fit and that she was just trying to make more money off of me. The alterations for hemming and busseling the dress were really expensive (which i figured it would be because my dress was very detailed and I had no problem paying it for good work) However, the dress was hemmed and it was still too long so I was holding it up all day so I didn't trip over it and the bussels broke after about 30 minutes of being busseled so I had to drag my train around all night at the reception. After paying almost 350 for alterations I wouldn't expect these kind of mistakes. Also, I scheduled to pick it up the Thursday before my wedding (made this appointment in July and it was written on my tag) and my dress was not steamed because they said they didnt know I was taking it home that day (even tho it said it on my tag.) I was extremely disappointed.
