I moved to Sunnyside from Manhattan a few years ago got off the train and stopped into La Bella for a few slices. Wow! I was first impressed that the owner and his wife are both italian. Some neighborhood pizzeria's have mexican people making pizza. Not the same. The pizza was delicious, cheese was qualitly cheese and the sauce was just perfect. I stopped in a week later and had a chicken marsala. They use real mushrooms which impressed me, most pizzeria's use canned vegetables. They're penne al la vodka's to die for! He used real vodka and the sauce was amazing. Love the food ..love the people would definitley recommend
