I don't usually write reviews, but i felt really compelled in this case. i just got a range rover and decided i wanted to install dvd's in the headrests, you know to keep the kids quiet for those long rides. i searched around online and found some pretty good deals on amazon, but i wasn't sure if i could do the installation myself...then i remembered Street Sound Plus, they had installed an alarm system on my honda about 15 years ago, and i must say they did a very good job back then. i called them up and was ecstatic that they were still open. i spoke with Tom and he is the owner. I actually remembered him from when i was 18 years old, so that was really cool. I drove down there, and Tom looked at the car and gave me some great options. Tom also emailed me photos of what the system would look like. The best part was that the installation was guaranteed for life. WOW, who can beat that!!! I was so excited i ordered the system and gave him my credit card. About 2 or 3 days later, i was at a birthday party and one of the parents mentioned that they put an ipad in their car headrest and that seemed like a brilliant idea. So i called Tom and explained my dilemma, and he was totally understanding and said he would cancel the order and not charge me anything. He told me to take my time and figure out what i wanted and to just call back and let me know if i decide that i wanted the headrest DVD's. I had a lot of questions and he was always available or called me right back. Tom also responded quickly to emails.
About a week or two later i finally decided DVD headrest was the way to go. I called him on a monday, the DVD headrest were ordered and installed on tuesday. Installation took about 4 hours. The quality of the system is excellent, and the leather is a very close match. Tom could have gotten an exact match for more money (around $1200) but i went for the generic brand leather for about 1/2 the price. Range Rover refers their customers to a place that charges $2000, and Tom does is for about $650. Tom also took his time to explain how the system works with the remotes, wireless headsets, etc. I was also impressed that the system was wired to the cars speakers and the kids don't have to use headphones, they could also listen to movie from the car speakers. Tom also mentioned that we can use these same headrests for my next car and if the color is different we just have the manufacturer switch the color. WOW!!!!
I have had the system for a month now and the kids and i are all very happy! Tom was very nice and really cared, and i am very grateful for the amazing job Street Sound Plus did.
