We moved to Nashville 2 years ago and happened upon 2 Danes Contemporary Furniture not long after. Since we built a new house so needed more furniture and because our tastes run to contemporary, we were excited to find this store. Browsing was a pleasure. While we were acknowledged with a greeting, no one intruded on our perusal. When we went to the other side of the store, we were asked if we needed help and the owner showed us some pieces that were on sale. This was the beginning of a great relationship. Since then, we have bought several things from 2 Danes; bookcases, lamps, clock, and bedroom set and have been very happy with everything.
The headboard on the bed that we bought last year started to show a flaw; the grain popped and it was no longer smooth. We took pictures of the problem and took them to the store. A few days later, we received a call saying that the bed would be replaced, the order had been made. A few weeks later, we received a call that the bed had arrived and a delivery date was scheduled. The day before that date, another call to tell us the time window in which they would arrive. That morning, another call to say that they were on the way. The old bed was dismantled and the new bed assembled.
We have been very pleased with every experience with 2 Danes. It is hard to go there without buying something. The owners are always pleasant and helpful. I have my eye on another piece that I expect to get in the future.
