In the summer of 2003 I was looking at rental properties for myself and 4 young children. We had moved here from Arizona. We had a very unpleasant experience with Mainlander, details of which I have fortunately forgotten. Fully aware that it was against my better judgement, I decided to give them another chance because my children wanted to live in one particular home in the old neighborhood we lived in when we moved here. Suffice it to say, I could not have expressed more interest in the property even asking if I could submit my application before viewing it, in order to speed the process. The leasing agent was complacent, didn't attempt to make any kind of relationship with me, and when I told him I had my application and a check, he offered no assistance, and the day I was to come back with my children, he called to cancel the appointment saying the home had just been rented. Nice!! I should also mention that it was VERY challenging to get information from the main office; I sent e-mails and made phone calls that were never responded to. I tried for weeks to get answers about the repairs being made to the property that were delaying the option to view the property. THIS BUSINESS IS CLEARLY A MONEY-MAKING MACHINE...GREED AT ITS WORST!!!!!!! Mainlander's principals, it would appear, have very poor ethics!! I HIGHLY SUGGEST ANY OTHER PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OR RENTING DIRECTLY FROM A PROPERTY OWNER, AS THIS COMPANY'S LONG-STANDING POOR REPUTATION IS ALL OVER THE INTERNET.
DO NOT BELIEVE THE 5 STAR RATINGS HERE!!!
