Please take CAUTION! This was the most horrifying experience I have ever had with a so-called medical "professional". BEWARE!!! I went to see Dr. Kerner for a closed Rhinoplasty and Septoplasty to correct breathing. The surgery seemed fine at first, but large bumps became present down the bridge shortly after. I waited over 1 year for this to correct itself, but it did not. Dr. Kerner refused to see me unless I paid another $350 just to show him the bumps or come in and talk to him. My breathing became so horrible that I had to go into surgery at a new hospital, where they found a jagged and irregular shaving of the bone, as well as left over bone chips and cartilage bits that were never cleaned out of Dr. Kerner's surgery and were floating around inside, and "webbing" which occurred when he left wounds that were never cared for and stuck together to form a web that further prevented breathing. I feel so horrified and ripped off beyond belief, as well as lied to. I would NOT recommend this doctor to any patient who desires honesty and values their health. With the bone chips floating around, I could have had serious nerve or brain damage, and after repeated calls to his staff before going in for reconstructive surgery at a NEW hospital, I was told that I was wrong and nothing like this had ever happened with him before and it would cost me $350 to talk with him for even 5 minutes regarding my situation. Again, I highly advise against this doctor! He should not be able to practice with the treatment of patients in this manner. I was a 19-year old female at the time, and could have been greatly injured (more so than currently) from his treatment or lack thereof.
