Hardwood floor refinishing - water-damaged wood 10/20/2011

I have a small house in Columbia and this company (owner Steve Rowlett was referred to me by Bona) was willing to travel to do my floors. I had been talking to flooring people for a couple of years and very much wanted to get my floors refinished but dreaded the work involved in moving furniture out. There is no getting around that part, but once it was out, the team did a great job on the floors. Two men, two days, done. And it *was* dust-free! I very much cared about the environmental aspect and also had heard horror stories about the dust with the old methods. Can't imagine why anyone would not go this route now. Clean, non-toxic, and the floors look great. My floors had a lot of old water damage and some of that just couldn't be sanded out but it still looks good. The stain they put on brought out the beautiful grain and I can't believe anyone could have ever put carpet over it. Bona did a great job developing a clean, environmentally-friendly method of floor refinishing! Pros: null Cons: null more
