Though I was warned of the incompetence if Doctors at Banfield, I was hoping for a different result. My husband and I adopted a 1 1/2 year old pointer in April of 2011. We felt as though we were helping our puppy by providing her with the Banfield wellness plan. We were naive in the fact that Banfield increases their prices to later discount services for the sake of providing a discount to us wellness plan patience. After bringing our Sick puppy in for an exam (not eating, vomiting, large golf ball size lump on her rib cage, diarrhea, lathargic) we were instructed to get an Xray and some other expensive procedures. Diagnosis: Gas & Stool in rectum. The difference in standard amount and our Ins amount @ 10%. We brought our puppy home and noticed her getting worse. Trying everything, we changed Vets and took her to a qualified Vet. After taking more Xrays and a blood screening test, found that she had Cancer (rare form for a 2 year old) and due to the constant break down in her blood cel
