The worst experience! I cannot say much about Dr. Jacobs because he only met briefly with us and didn’t even look us in the eyes. The office was only interested in us to get all the diagnostic blood work done (that must be where they make their money). After all the tests were done I had a very hard time reaching the office. Their hours are 7am-6pm, but they start answering phones at 9am. Then during lunch time the whole office goes on lunch break (they are still in the office but they don’t answer the phones). Then they stop answering phones at 4pm, even though they are still there till 6 pm. It does not make any sense! So if you are a person that has a job – you will not be able to reach them. I left numerous messages, and different member of the staff would call me back. Each of them would not know who I am or at what stage of the treatment I am (you would think that information would be readily available in my file). For example, in the middle of my treatment I had a question and left a detailed message. When the staff member called me back she thought I am only starting the diagnostic and urged me to make an appointment for the first blood work! I had all of my blood work done already! The worst of all is the nurse Pam. I don’t understand how such an incompetent person has a job in this economy. She would not return my phone calls, when she would return my phone calls she would be confused about which patient I am and what kind of medication I am on. It went so far as she called in a wrong prescription to my pharmacy! Now tell me it’s not a malpractice! When I caught a mistake, both the pharmacy and I had to leave her numerous messages which she did not return. Days later she called in the right prescription. When I brought to the attention of the staff that I have a hard time reaching them or getting call backs from Pam, she called me and left me a snotty message saying that she is too busy to call me back and will call when she can.
I am still not pregnant, but a lot more aggravated with a lot less money than when I started. If you don’t want to be treated like a number don’t use this office. Do a little more research, I know I will.
