After more than 30 years with State Farm, they have notified me that my home owners insurance is being cancelled due to the overall claim activity. Up until last year our activity had been relatively light. Last year we expeienced about $9K in damage from a severe a ice and snow storm. I guess their profit margin wasn't high enough. So much for loyalty.
