I took my first quilting class (beginner) last nite with Leslie. I was surprised at how helpful she was considering I came to class very tired and a bit brain dead after a long day at work. She started by having us make templates to understand how the pieces fit and THEN showed us an even easier way that now made sense. After class (it was around 9:00 p.m.) she offered to stay and help us pick fabrics. I think that lady is a mind reader. She had us start with something we love and then build from that. I started with something that had colors I wanted but I really didn't love it -- with a few questions she helped me find something I really really loved and then the remaining fabrics. Most people would NOT have the patience or desire to help a total newbie at after 9 p.m. When I left she was still patiently helping everyone who stayed find just what they wanted when they really didn't know just want they wanted. I'd give this lady ten stars! Beautiful fabric -- but more import
