I was born with a genetic kidney disease and began having problems in my early 20's. I was lucky enough to have found an excellent Dr. my first try. He had his own practice. In my mid 30's I had to start dialysis, and he told me he would be with me through my transplant, but....his health began to fail and quit practicing and I was referred to Dr. Judith Betts at CTKA. I was so dissapointed because I just KNEW I was not going to receive the personal attention I got from him. Boy was I WRONG!!! Dr. Betts is excellent. I have since received my transplant and she still follows up with me regularly. She reviews everything with you from your prior appointments, compares labwork with you and you certainly feel that she is giving it her all to keep you on a healthy path. No, trying to get out of the door before she has even made it in all the way like a lot of the Dr.s I have experienced with my husband. And then there is her nurse Dana.......what can I say? I love her!.......Very responsive and nice! Would reccomend them to anyone. Your Health Care cannot get any better that this!
