The location is awesome because it's so close to Downstate. There is a 24-hour parking lot which is good if you work nights or if you may run a little late and don't want to be harangued at their daily parking lot.
Which brings me to the main issue with ESP parking...
The lady who runs it is extremely high-strung and argumentative. If there is the slightest question or issue, she will call your phone and email you repeatedly until you respond to her, even within a very short time (she will also send you multiple emails about the same thing, even after you respond to her). I know a number of people who take public transportation to work just because they can't find affordable parking elsewhere and just could not tolerate feeling harassed by her.
The other reviewers are totally correct about how she calls and yells at you and unannounced policy changes.
A lot of these positive reviews sound suspiciously similar (""safe, clean and secure,"" ""safe, clean and cheap,"" ""half a block from Downstate,"" ""best place to park"") and suspiciously like advertisement (""coupons and savings,"" ""check out the website,"" ""trust your car at ESP parking""). I would take them with a grain of salt.
