My Appointment was with Dr Patel In October for a Pain in my Arm which had been diagnosed as a Pinched nerve in the neck and verified with MRI's and X-Rays.\r
The First mistake came when I signed in with the nurse and answered the usual questions and gave a urine sample. While talking to the Dr. The results of a sample were delivered to him and he immediately began questioning me about my drug use. I assured that the only drugs I had EVER taken had been prescribed ... After extensive questioning, the nurse returned with another urine result. This time it was mine and the other had been from someone else.\r
The Dr decided he knew more than the others and attributed the pain to a rotator cup injury which had been ruled out by my Primary physician.\r
He agreed to give me a shot in the shoulder to relieve the pain.\r
When I arrived for the shot, the nurse instructed me to sit on the table, remove my shirt and unbutton my pants. When ask why the pants for a shot in the shoulder, she remarked ""Oh! I thought it was in the back""\r
On the follow up for the injection, Dr. Patel again examined me for rotator cup problems.\r
In the process of twisting and pulling, he managed to BREAK the Biceps Tendon!!!!!\r
I was told to go home and apply cold packs if it hurt.\r
THIS WAS MY FINAL VISIT!!!!!
