I bought my first car from these guys and all went well through the buying process. Everyone was nice and cheerful and willing to help when I was a potential buyer. It wasn't until I had problems that the experience took a turn for the worse. I bought a used 2006 Scion tC, the clutch on the car went out after I put 400 miles on the car, the car had 2600 miles when I bought it. I purchased an extended warranty for the car at purchase time. When it came around to fix the clutch they wanted to charge $1,900 to pull the clutch out and replace it. There is no way I burnt the clutch myself. They waived the 700 tear down fee to see if it was a manufacturers defect. Then wanted to charge me $1200 after they decided that the clutch was burnt up. Finally after threatening to just have the car picked up they decided they would do it for $600 still not the $50 from the warranty I was sold. Scion changed the clutch in 2007 because the old ones would burn up...either they did not do their research or lied to me one. In Nov 2011 a Columbia city police officer pulled out in front of me ""Failing to yeild right of way"" and totaled the car. I have played hell getting refunds for the warranty and other service contracts. The finance company even called me and told me how rude they were to them.
BUYER BEWARE these guys are nice up until they have you locked in. Dick Dyer Toyota is so much nicer and easier to deal with. I bought my new Scion from them and they have remained in constant contact with me. They actually act like they care about you and it doesn't stop right after you buy the car.
