I had a similar experience. My furnace is only 10 years old, signed up for the service plan,. The furnace stopped working a few nights ago it was about 20 degrees out. Technician came out and told me he did not have the part to fix it (inducer motor) and it would have to be ordered through trane on monday. Also told me it was time for a new lennox furnace. At this point im very frustrated, asked him why I signed up for a service plan if he does'nt have the parts to fix it. He said they do not carry inducers on trucks. I said but the side of your truck says you service all brands 24/7, he says they don't even carry lennox inducers on trucks. I said why would I buy another contract or furnace from you? Please leave. Called another contractor, gave them my credit card info, had heat that weekend. Fought for my money back on the contract. All they want to do is sell new equipment and leave you in the cold, thumbs down!
