I first went to Venus Modern Body Arts to get my rook and lobes pierced by Rob, who was amazing. He was very gentle and did a great job on the placement (they are now my favorite piercings!). I never really thought of getting a tattoo here because to me, it was just a piercing shop; plus, I was pretty happy with the tattoos I had and didn't feel the need to try a new place for my next one. Then one day, a friend of mine decided to get a small tattoo here, and I went with her. I ended up getting a small thing on my ankle. I was so impressed by how nice Ralph was and how well the small tattoos came out that I went back a couple days later for another one. I brought in the design I wanted, and he redrew it, changing it slightly (and checking the drawing with me) so I wouldn't have the exact same tattoo as someone else. This was my first color tattoo, so I was kind of nervous, but I trusted Ralph to color it in well, so I gave him a general idea of the colors I wanted used and let him do his thing. He did such an amazing job--I'm so in love with the end result! The shading and blending of the colors is gorgeous, and it's a really vibrant design. Not only is the tattoo amazing, but the experience was also one to remember. As I mentioned earlier, Ralph is super nice (he asked me several times if I was ok, and he invited me to let him know if I was ever too uncomfortable, which I never was), and he really listens to what you want. I've had such good experiences here that Venus Modern Body Arts has definitely become the place I go for all future piercings and tattoos. Thanks so much!!
