The personal care staff at Fite is very good at caring for the elderly. You can tell just by talking to them, they love their jobs. They don't get paid much for the care they provide which is a shame. But, when it comes to food service the staff in the kitchen needs alot of help. There is no registered dietician on staff. The owners will tell you that their adult daughter has had classes in diets and such, but only a few classes. Not near the state requirements. The menu reads like a corner diners. Mac and Cheese? The sodium content was beyond what a healthy adult can tolerate in a single day! Oh and they served this to my mother who is a heart patient and a diabetic! All in all, the personal care staff is who really make the place a fairly nice place to put mom or dad.
