Shady Sales Tactics. Take your money and run away! 1/16/2011

On Tuesday January 11,2011 I contacted Southern Honda Chattanooga regarding a 2007 Honda VTX1300R for sale at a listed price of $5,782.00 and with Stock Number: HM07-410520 on their website. Salesman Calvin Steele assured me that the price was correct and I made arrangements to drive 4hrs. from middle Georgia to Chattanooga with my family to purchase this bike. I was in contact with Calvin several times prior to my visit and he even called me two days prior to my trip to make sure I was still coming. I even called him when I was 30 min. away from the dealarship on Saturday January 15,2011. Upon entering the dealership on Saturday, Calvin Steele then informed me that the bike that I was interested in had a ""price change"" of a $1000.00 increase. I immediately went to the front desk and told the receptionist that I needed to see a manager. She declined my request and my salesman, Calvin, approched me again and said that he was the ""online markenting manager"" and that he was incharge of online prices. As of this day, the bike I am intersted in has notbeen sold and is still for sale on Southern Honda's website for the original amount I wanted to buy the bike for. \r \r Link to ad on their website:\r \r southernhonda com/showcaseproductdetail.htm?ID=135585&Used=1&Model=2007 Honda VTX1300R\r \r more
