I know that the Rattlesnake Inn advertises having the best burgers in Central Texas, which is a tall order in these parts. It's definitely a good burger but different from the typical Texas burger. Their claim to fame is the jalapeno bun, a fat, doughy and tasty piece of bread but not what you'd expect on a true Texas burger. The meat patty is thick but average in terms of flavor. There's not enough lettuce, tomatoes and pickles offer to offset this bread and meat-fest. Want an authentic Texas burger in Williamson county? Try Andice General Store or Dale's in Walburg have the best I've found in these parts.
