We used American St. for our VA mortgage and worked directly with Danny Chookaszian. We originally were going to do a home equity loan with our bank but in today's banking climate we gave up on that route. After reading about Danny and American St in a Terry Savage SunTime's column, we sent him an email and were surprised by how quickly he responded. He steered us thru the VA loan process and got us a good rate along with locating an underwriter who could correctly structure our loan. Not all banks offer VA loans. You hear so much now a days about poor customer service but that is not the case at American St. They go above and beyond in providing good service and customer satisfaction.
